Best Coleslaw Recipe For Pulled Beef

Slow Cooked Korean Pulled Beef Sliders with Asian Slaw are soooo delicious! They are super easy to make and great for grubbing down on game day!

I made my favorite Galbi marinade to slow cook the beef. We usually use it for flaken cut short ribs, but it was perfect for slow cooking a chuck roast until it was fork tender and falling apart. I promise I'll share the recipe for the ribs soon!
Crock Pot Bbq Beef Sandwiches
Then we added a simple Asian Slaw made with cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and green onions. I tossed together a simple asian flavored vinaigrette to dress the veggies with. It makes the perfect accompaniment to these Korean Pulled Beef Slides.
To make the Korean Pulled Beef I decided to use a Certified Angus Beef® brand Boneless Beef Chuck Roast. It's the perfect cut for a long slow braise of the slow cooker, and becomes super tender instead of tough like other cuts!
I found my roast at my local QFC, but you can use the Certified Angus Beef ® brand Store locator to find a store near you. If you happen to be lucky enough to have a QFC near you they seem to have a lot of buy BOGO offers in their weekly ad I keep an eye out for! Who doesn't love a deal?
Sweet And Tangy No Mayo Coleslaw With Celery Seed
Pour sauce over a 3 pound Certified Angus Beef® brand Boneless Chuck Roast in a slow cooker. Cook for 5-6 hours on High or 8-10 hours on low, until beef is tender.
Shred beef using two forks and toss with some of pan juices. Or place shredded beef back into slow cooker with juice to keep warm while serving.
Pile Korean Pulled Beef high on warmed slider buns, drizzle with a little pan juice, and top with a heaping pile of Asian Coleslaw.

I love low effort recipes like this one, especially on the weekend when you may not have a lot of time to cook. This recipe takes a minimum of advance preparation before going into a low oven or slow cooker to slowly braise to tender perfection all afternoon while you’re busy with other things.

Bbq Beef Sandwiches And Sweet Slaw
I don’t add the honey and vinegar to the barbecue sauce while the beef braises because I like to preserve the flavour of the beef without penetrating it with sweetness.
The spiced tomato, onion and garlic sauce is perfect for braising the beef before the sweet and tangy elements are added to the sauce after the roast is cooked. This way, the pure flavour of the beef and the sweet, tangy flavour of the sauce remain distinct but compliment each other amazingly.
Don’t be afraid to double up on this recipe to feed a large group or to take along to a pot luck supper. It’s been very popular when I have shared it at a couple of gatherings recently.
Shredded Bbq Beef (oven Or Crock Pot)
I do like to toast the burger buns or crusty bread slices but it isn’t completely necessary. Especially if you want to include them on the buffet table along with the beef and coleslaw so that people can construct their own sandwiches.

Ten POUNDS? You could try making a version of the sauce to warm the beef in but to be honest it won't quite be the same.
Holy smokes - this is definitely a must have in any menu repertoire! I was so impressed at how easy it was, but how amazing the flavors were. A definite requirement is good hearty crusty bread - it made all the difference in the world.
This one will be on repeat. My husband said... you haven't made those pulled beef things in a while. Mhmm.. a whole week!
